Murviedro Bodega Histórica

The historic Murviedro winery is a place to connect with the tradition of our region. The aim is to make the world of wine accessible to all audiences, guiding them through exploring our history and passion, as well as introducing them to the latest trends in the oenological sphere.

We will take a brief look at the history of our region relating it to viticulture since the 6th century BC.

We will visit our urban micro-winery and talk about the latest technology inspired by the most traditional methods. Ovoid cement tanks, ceramic-lined tanks, the classic earthenware vat or French oak barrels are part of our commitment to reconnect with the tradition of our region.

Without a doubt, the highlight of the tour is the descent into the caves. We'll closely follow the traditional elaboration process as it was done in the past. With a cellar preserved in its original state, we'll trace the wine's journey through its various stages and explore the historical significance of this network of caves, offering a journey back in time.

We currently have the following types of tours:

General tour €7: This consists of a guided tour of our cellar museum + 2 tastings + 1 bottle of wine
Premium tour* €15: This consists of guided tour of our cellar museum + 5 tastings with typical charcuterie from the area + 1 bottle of wine
*minimum group for premium tour: 8 people

Schedule:

Thursday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday to Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
