Municipal Museum of Utiel

The Municipal Museum of Utiel has a valuable permanent collection located in the “Casa Alamanzón”. The Casa Alamanzón is a protected and restored building over 150 years old, with a Renaissance façade from the end of the 19th century. Throughout its history it has served for numerous uses: as a manor house, as Civil Guard barracks or as a courthouse. In recent years, it has hosted an array of temporary exhibitions.

The ground floor houses a valuable archaeological collection with pieces from the  Iberian, Roman and medieval cultures, and on the upper floors, an interesting ethnological collection from the city with an interesting display of clothing and recreations of different dwellings.

The Municipal Museum shows the customs and way of life in the municipality through antique objects, donated by inhabitants of Utiel.

Opening hours:

Sunday and Monday: Closed

Tuesday to Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Free admission
