Half-Day Wine Tour from Valencia

Welcome to Ruta del Vino Half-Day Wine Tour during which you can learn more about the history, culture and gastronomy of the Utiel-Requena county. The day begins with our guide picking you up at your accommodation in Valencia. A journey to Requena where you can learn about the history of the region through wine (literally). A region famous for having the oldest winery in the Iberian Peninsula (2,500 years old). After arriving to Requena, you will visit one of the jewels here, its underground caves that stored from grain, oil, to wine. Get lost with you guide in labyrinths of 'tinajas' and learn more about the winemaking tradition in the region. After tasting two wines, follow our guide on a guided walk at the Medieval town of Requena, where you can learn more about the local history.

We will continue the tour visiting another winery on the Ruta del Vino, where you will taste three wines, paired with local cold-cuts. Then we will return to Valencia after the tasting.
